2011 census states----

India’s 2011 Population 1.21 Billion, 17.5 Per Cent Of World

India’s population rose to 1.21 billion people as per census report 2011. During the last 10 years, the population of India has increased by 181 million, according to the 15th Census data released on 31st March 2011. Significantly the growth is slower for the first time in nine decades. India now accounts for world’s 17.5 per cent population. It consists of 623.7 million males and 586.5 million females, said the provisional 2011 Census report. India’s headcount is almost equal to the combined population of the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Japan put together. Among the states and Union territories, Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state with 199 million people and Lakshadweep the least populated at 64,429.

A startling revelation regarding literacy rate, literacy rate improved sharply among females as compared to males. While the effective literacy rate for males rose from 75.26 to 82.14 per cent marking a rise of 6.9 per cent, it increased by 11.8 per cent for females to go from 53.67 to 65.46 per cent. Kerala has the highest literacy rate at 93.91 per cent followed by Lakshadweep at 92.28 per cent. Bihar is at the bottom of the ladder with literacy rate of 63.82 followed by Arunachal Pradesh at 66.95.

Facebook bans 20,000 children in a day

We are living in a society called Information.  In the era of Facebook, people are loved to connect through this. But you're "forbidden" from using Facebook, if you’re under age 13. Accessing the social networking site is a crime if you are below 13. About 20,000 children are kicked off this social networking site every day for lying about their age. Many underage children join the site by pretending to be older than they are, despite efforts to enforce the age limit policy.

A mother in Australia, whose 12-year-old daughter was being stalked and harassed on the site, after the mother discovered her under-age child, was on Facebook, despite the rules. Seven million Australians visit Facebook per day, nine million each week and almost eleven million each month. Globally, about seven million children are blocked from the site each year.

Some known facts of Penguins

17 species of penguins are available in this earth, some of which are found as far north as the equator. These three families: brush tail, crested, and king emperor penguins are the generally found families of Penguins. Of these species only six are found in Antarctica (Adelies, Chintraps, Emperors, Gentoos, Macaronis, and Rockhoppers).

For their effortless movement through the water and their possible evolution from gull like birds Penguins often are referred to as “flippered flyers”. Penguins typically feed on krill and fish, in the water. The dietary habits of penguins are relatively easy to monitor. Krill eating penguins excrete pink guano, while those eating fish leave behind white guano.   The yolks of penguins are often red indicates the consumption of krill.

Dada’s Exclusion from IPL-Justified or not

In cricket what sells…. is the performance. Today million and million dollars are transacting in IPL. Thus it can precisely be uttered as Indian Power League or Indian Paisa League. Dada the Maharaja of Kolkata remained unsold by the owners as no one steps forward to catch dada’s wicket. Kolkata Knight Rider is very happy to reform their team without Saurav Ganguli, who was once the charm of KKR. Gautam Gambhir was supposed to be the key player of Delhi dare devil is now KKR’s property. SRK is very happy to take Gautam Gambhir (the costliest player so far).

IPL being the game of only 20 overs, if one particular player stands strong in the pitch can able to win the match. Being a Bengali I feel pity for Dada and thinks of boycotting the matches. “NO dada no IPL” but if we think logically what SRK has done is absolutely the justified. He is above all a businessman so he should utilize his brain instead of heart. After defeating shamefully in three consecutive years, every person in this earth will think rationally. Because those don’t learn from previous experience is the dullest animal in this planet. So here SRK decision of playing without Maharaja is totally right.

In tweenty-20 each player should be the match winner within himself. As we are stressing the point that Dada had played well in the last IPL. But what was the outcome of KKR; they even could not able to qualify for the semi-final----very pathetic!!!!!

Other selectors in the bid were also aware of dada’s performance in IPL. So they also dint take the risk to choosing our very own Mr. Ganguly. Rahul Dravid the charisma of Bangalore is being chosen by Shilpa and Yuvraj is no longer with Preity. That has a very clear message that though these players are not selected by their own state, they are not remained unsold. But as maharaja is no more with KKR he is no where in IPL.
